What’s the matter?教学设计

子洲二中 王某某

【教材依据】本节课为新目标人教版八年级下册第一单元第一课时sectionA(1a-1c)。本单元的语言功能项目是“谈论健康问题和事故并提出建议”（Talk about health problems and accidents; Give advice）。

一、设计思路

指导思想：本节课的设计都是以英语新课程标准为准则，以任务型教学法和交际语言教学为理论依据，努力创设贴近生活的语言情景，以学生为中心，让学生在完成任务的过程中达到交际目的。本节课主要让学生认知表示身体部位的单某某以及部分疾病的表达方法，学会谈论自己和他人的健康状况。八年级学生存在两级分化现象，学生差异较大，为了调动学生的积极性，我注重分层，面向全体学生。

教学目标。

⑴知识与能力：

①. Master the words: matter, sore, have a cold, stomachache, foot, neck, stomach, throat, have a stomachache.

②. Master the structure:

A: What’s the matter?

B: I have a cold/stomachache...

③.Enable students to talk about health problems with the main structure. To improve students’ listening and speaking ability.（运用所学单某某，谈论身体状况，提高学生的听说能力。）

⑵方法与途径: Task- based language teaching method, the cooperative learning method, and multimedia-assisted teaching and learning method.

⑶情感与评价：

①Improve the cooperative spirit through group work.

②Students care more about themselves and their family members.

⑷现代教学手段的运用:The pictures about illness; PPT and Tape

3．教学重点与难点

⑴教学重点：Learn and master the parts of the body and the names of illness.

⑵教学难点：Learn to talk about health problems by using

“What’s the matter? I have a …”.

二、教学准备

由于本节课的话题是谈论健康，根据新课标的要求，学生需要掌握有关身体部位以及疾病的单某某，但是让他们在短时间内记住新单某某有难度，所以我设计了PPT, 通过多媒体辅助教学，可以增加趣味性；而且我还准备了有关疾病的图片，让学生印象更深刻；我还开展了guessing game ，pair work和 group work等多种教学法，使学生在轻松的气氛里掌握知识，达到最佳的教学效果。

三、教学过程

Step1. Lead in

Listen to a song, review the words of body parts. Then give students a picture of Gu 内容过长，仅展示头部和尾部部分文字预览，全文请查看图片预览。 about people’s health.

In this class, I paid attention to students’ listening and speaking ability. Also let them take part in the class activities actively. (A song and two guessing games.) But still some poor students couldn’t follow me and did poor in English. I will try my best to help them.
