教学内容分析
本节课授课内容是人教版必修2 Unit2 Reading “ In search of the Amber Room”,教学内容是文化遗产,与学生们的日常生活没有多少联系。课文中出现许多历史人物,时间,地点,而且他们的关系是比较复杂的,对学生来说理清历史事件,人物关系,尤其是与琥珀馆的关系是比较难的。[来源:***]
学情分析
学生是刚从初中升上高中的,他们学习过程处于兴奋,好奇,热情后期的稳定状态,他们在初中已积累了一定的词汇量,并有一些历史,地理初级知识,对城市生活的孩子来说,他们已经接触和理解一些文化遗产方面的知识,他们正在探索新的学习策略和技巧,具有初步的听说读写能力。相信他们对历史文化遗产有好奇心,因而会产生一定的兴趣。所以,教师需要在学习过程中,指导并传授阅读技巧,鼓励学生多阅读,勤思考,总结方法和技巧去解决问题,启发他们多了解文化遗产及尽可能保护文化遗产。[来源:学,科,网]
教学目标
引导学生学习掌握以下新的生词和词组:

2.让学生了解琥珀屋的历史。
3.激发学生对文化遗产的了解和兴趣及保护文化遗产的意识。
四.教学过程
Step1. Warming up (Pre-reading)
Get the students to know what the ambers are asking the following questions.
Have you ever seen a piece of amber?
What do you know about it?
Can you imagine a house made of amber?
Display the pictures of amber and the amber room.(pictures)
设计意图:通过先展示琥珀图片,让学生对琥珀有所了解,既能活跃课堂气氛,又能使学生对本课产生好奇和兴趣,顺利进入新课学习。
Step2. While-Reading
Fast-reading
Get the students to listen to the passage and try to get a better understanding .
设计意图:通过听,读把学生带入一个琥珀屋的历史过程,直观形象地展现课文内容。
Show the students the following tips to do fast-reading and then give them some questions to answer.
Skipping and scanning (找重点词、关键词、理解文章的主要内容)
Exercises: (Double solutions to questions)
问题关键词 —————— 文章对应处
答案 ——————前后即测试点
Questions:

( 这个问题中的关键词就是amber room)
What else were used to make the room besides amber?

设计意图:通过技巧的提示和简单的几个问题,把学生带入课文当中来。一方面让学生了解并运用阅读技巧,另一方面让学生大致理解课文的意思。
