Ⅰ.What to learn

设计意图：学习内容一目了然，学生明白学什么。

II. Learning goals

In this lesson, you will

1. guess the meaning of some new words

2. read the text quickly to find the main facts or ideas

3. have a good understanding of the text

4. learn some ways to solve problems

5. know “Sharing a problem is like cutting it in half.”

设计意图：学习目标语言表述言简意赅，学生明白为什么学。目标结合文本内容有机渗透了英语学科核心素养的语言能力、文化品格、思维品质、学习能力四个维度，自然不牵强。

III. How to get to goals

设计意图：告诉学生怎么学，通过什么途径达成学习目标。教学目标是一节课的出发点和落脚点，教学手段和方法必须为教学目标服务，科学的目标必须用科学的方法才能达成。学生明白学什么，为何而学固然重要，但是最重要的还是要教导他们如何学。

Task 1 Warming-up

What is your biggest worry?/What kinds of things do you worry about?

设计意图：通过if you are happy这首歌引入话题，提出问题，导入主题。 Task 2 Read and Fead(2b)

Read the text quickly and find the main idea . Read the first and last senteneces of paragraphs, and the first and last paragraphs.

What is the main idea of the passage?/Which statements expresses the main idea of the passage?

设计意图：指导学生运用略读策略(skimming)阅读课文，获取文章大意。不能够自己归纳的学生就做三选一.

Task 3 Read , think and answer (Work in pairs.)

设计意图：学生通过回答以上问题可以理清文本脉络，抓住关键信息和主要观点。开展对子活动旨在互帮互学，相互促进，顺利完成任务。这个任务的形式还可以是完成表格或者思维导图等。

设计思路：通读文章 ，进一步理解课文。

2. Finish your writing . What can you do about your worries?

设计思路：课内所获知识、技能向课外延伸拓展。在阅读理解、交流分享的基础上，进一步思考解决问题的办法。通过写作，让学生对课文的理解上一台阶。

教学反思：通过学习这篇文章，大部分学生懂得当自己遇到一些困难和焦虑时怎样去处理，能够结合所学知识解决实际问题。学有所获。但仍然有少部分学生还需要个别指导才能达到预期的目的。
