一、教学内容分析



本单元选自人教版英语第五单元,主要学习动词have的一般现在时的用法;使用do和does引导的一般疑问句的构成以及简单回答。本单元围绕“和朋友一起欢度时光”这一话题安排了三个任务:一是列举所学的运动项目,从中挑选出各自喜欢的体育项目,并说明原因,目的是巩固并新学一些体育项目的名词;二是让学生互相询问所爱好的运动,并根据情况发出邀请,学会用have对物品的所属进行提问与回答,掌握用do和does引导的一般疑问句的构成及使用,了解用Let’s提建议的句型;三是写作,把任务一、二的完成情况写成日记,进一步复习、巩固所学的语言目标。通过本单元的学习,学会用have对物品的所属进行提问与回答;学会用let’sXXXXX句型提建议;能够谈论自己喜欢哪些球类运动,不喜欢哪些球类运动及原因;能够谈论怎样和自己的朋友度过一段愉快的时光



二、教学目标



1. 语言知识目标:

1) 能掌握下列词汇:do (does), have, tennis, ball, ping-pong, bat, soccer, soccer ball, basketball, let, us, let's go, we, late, has, get

2) 学会用have对物品的所属进行提问以及应答,学会使用do和does引导的一般疑问句:

① —Do you have a baseball?

—Yes, I do. /No, I don't.

② —Does she/he have a tennis ball?

—Yes, she/he does./ No, she/he doesn't.

③ —Do they have a soccer ball?

—Yes, they do./ No, they don't.

3) 学会用Let’sXXXXX 提建议。

2. 情感态度价值观目标:

利用学生喜爱运动的心理,激发学生学习英语的欲望和兴趣,使他们乐于参与各种英语实践活动。在小组活动中,培养学生团结协作精神。

教学重难点

1. 教学重点:

1) 通过运用have对物品的所属进行提问以及应答,来掌握一些运动项目的词汇。

2) 在询问对方是否有某物的对话中学会使用do和does引导的一般疑问句。

3)学会用祈使句来向对方提出建议。

2. 教学难点:

学会使用第三人称单数的一般疑问句Does XXXXX?及回答做对话。



三、学习者特征分析



学生在以前的学习中已经掌握了be动词在一般现在时中的构成和使用,在学生的头脑中也已经形成了一个模式,这种模式将直接影响学生对本单元知识内容的接受,所以教师在教学中一定要善于引导,以免学生养成不良习惯。该部分学习内容贴近学生的生活,谈论的主题是符合学生喜爱运动的心理,极易于激发学生学习英语的欲望和兴趣,使他们乐于参与各种英语实践活动。但同时学生在学习新知的时候,助动词do/does的使用时需要注意的,学生对于第三人称助动词does是很容易出现错误,要加强引导,多练习巩固。

The teacher brings some balls, like a basketball, a soccer ball, a tennis ball,a volleyball and a ping-pong ball.

T:(After greeting the class)Today I bring some balls to you.Do you like sports?

Ss:Yes.

T:Great.Sports can make us strong and smart.

The teacher takes out a soccer ball.

T:What’s this?

Ss:It’s a soccer ball.

T:Do you know how to play it?

Ss:Yes.

T:Please show us.OK?

Ask one of the students to show skills of playing soccer.

Show other balls like this.

After that, the teacher says, “Do you want to know the English names of the balls?OK.Let’s learn Unit 5.”

The teacher writes the topic “Do you have a soccer ball?” on the blackboard.

Good morning/afternoon!

A brainstorm:

T:What’s this in English?

S1:It’s an eraser.

T:Is it yours?

S1:Yes, it is.

T:What color is it?

2.After the teacher talks about some things with the students, the teacher shows a soccer ball and teaches them the new words.

T:Look! I have a soccer ball.Do you have a soccer ball?

S1:No, I don’t.

T:Do you have a soccer ball?

S2:Yes,I do.

Then the teacher leads the students to learn the new words in 1a.

 教师先通过展示实物,引发学生的好奇心,让学生对今天的课程充满了期待。然后学习询问:“这是什么?”,当学生不会用英语表达的时候可以让他们用汉语去说球的名称。在此基础上,老师让学生展示球技,既活跃课堂的气氛,又锻炼了学生的胆量,接着过渡到新课。



StepⅡ.New words (1a)

1.Presentation by showing the picture of sports things in 1a.

T:Look at this picture.What’s this in English? (Point to the sports things and teach the new words.)

Ss:It’s is ball/XXXXXa basketball/tenn

T:Can you spell it, please?

Ss:XXXXX

The teacher encourages the students to say out the English words of the sports things.When they have difficulties, the teacher gives them help and teaches the new words:soccer ball, ping-pong ball/bat, tennis ball, volleyball, basketball, and so on.The teacher writes the words on the blackboard.

T:Now, please read and learn these words after me.And pay attention to the pronunciation of the letters in these things.

Ss read these new words after the teacher.And read aloud by themselves.

2.The teacher shows balls or pictures of balls to the class.

T:Look at this.What’s this in English?

Ss:It’s a basketball.

T:How do you spell it?

Ss:B-A-S-K-E-T-B-A-L-L.

T:I have a basketball.Do you have one?

Ss:Yes, I do./No, I don’t.

Teach the question:Do you have XXXXX? Teach them how to read it in the rising tone and how to answer it.Do this drilling with other sports things.

3.T:Please read the words in 1a and look at the things in the picture.Match the words with the things in the picture.

Students read and learn the new words in 1a, match the words with the things in the picture by themselves, and then check their work in class.

T:Read the words after me, and point to the things in the picture.e.g. tennis ball

Step Ⅲ.Listening Activities(1b)

1.Before listening,the teacher lets the students read aloud the words in the box.

T:Read the words in the box in 1b.Then listen and circle the words you hear.

2.Then play the tape.Students listen and circle the words in 1b.

T:What do you circle?

Ss: Ping-pong bat,ping-pong ball.

Then the teacher shows a ping-pong ball and a ping-pong bat to the class.

T:Do you have a ping-pong ball?

Ss:Yes, I do./No, I don’t.

3.Play the tape again.Students repeat and imitate the pronunciation and intonation.

T:Now, read aloud the conversation.Pay attention to the intonation of “Do you haveXXXXX?” and “Yes, I do./No, I don’t.”

The teacher writes the questions and answers on the blackboard and shows how to read the questions and answers.

StepⅣ.Post-listening Activities (1c)

1.Ask the class to read the conversation aloud.The teacher shows how to read it.

T:When we read a Yes/No question “Do you have XXXXX?”, we use a rising tone.Please read the sentences after me.“Do you have a ping-pong!梑all/bat?”

Ss read aloud.

2.The teacher shows things by PPT and asks the class to ask and answer in pairs, practicing“Do you have XXXXX?”.

T:Now please look at these things in PPT.Ask and answer in pairs.Do it like 1c.

Ss read aloud the conversation.Then practice the conversation in pairs.

Then ask them to talk about the things in class.

(Show a basketball to the class.)

T: What’s this in English?

S1: It’s a basketball.

T: Yes, you are right. Read after me. B-A-S-K-E-T-A-B-L-L, basketball.

2. Look at the words in 1a and match the words with the things in the picture.

Practice the drill “Do you have a XXXXX?”, "Does he/she have aXXXXX? " in pairs. You can use your school things and these balls. Look at the model,then practice like this.

S3: Dose she have a basketball?

S4: Yes, she does.

S3: Dose she have a soccer ball?

S4: No, she doesn't.

(Students work in pairs.)

Listening

九、教学反思



针对教学设计中的某一个环节或者这几个环节进行反思。比如反思教学目标的设置是否得当,教学时间的安排是否合适,问题的设计是否科学。学生们对于本节课学习的知识是否了解,能否很好的运用。在教学过程中,注重与学生沟通,让学生消除对英语学习的恐惧感,只有对英语感兴趣,才能保持英语学习的动力并取得好成绩.刻板的学习,不仅会影响英语学习的效果,适得其反让他们厌恶学习英语.因此创造宽松、和谐的学习氛围有利于英语学习。

本节课需要学生了解助动词do/does以及第三人称的变化。通过学生的学习,使学生更加热爱体育活动并培养一种适合自己的体育爱好;在小组活动中,培养团结写作的精神。
