2. Enable the Ss to use ‘as ‘ ‘when’ and ‘while’ correctly when they talk about their activities.

三、教学过程

Step 1 Lead in

1.T:What’s the weather like today????S: It’s rainy/ cloudy/ sunny.

??T:what was the weather like when Hobo was sleeping?

??S: It was rainy. It was raining heavily.

??T: Yes. When there is too much rain in a short time, it can turn into a disater. It can cause flood. Bad weather can cause disaters. We’ve learnt about the earthquake inTaiwan. Would you like to answer a few simple questions about it?
