Analysis of teaching material

My lesson is a review lesson. The content of my lesson is based on New Senior English for China Book6, Unit 1. This unit is about ”A healthy life”. By studying of this unit, we’ll enable students to know something about Health and develop a healthy habit in daily life. At the same time, let the students learn how to write the letter of suggestion. As we all know, basic knowledge belongs to the input during the process of the language learning. The input has great effect on output, such as speaking and writing. Therefore, this lesson is in the important position of this unit. If the students can master it well, it will be helpful for them to master the whole unit.



Analysis of the students

Although the students in this class are in the second grade of high school, their English proficiency and ability are still relatively weak. But students are basically with the ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing, so in the process of teaching, pay more attention to students' reaction degree, which will help to encourage the students to complete the teaching content of the lesson.

(1)The Students can master the usage of the important words and expressions.

(2)The students can use ”it” in the proper situation.

(3)The students can understand the content of 内容过长，仅展示头部和尾部部分文字预览，全文请查看图片预览。 论，讨论的话题是“从文章中你学到什么”和“如何来戒烟”两个问题，自选一 个回答。最后老师总结：只要拥有健康，才有希望；只要有希望，我们才能成功；让我们过着健康的生活，你准备好了吗？ 我觉得这节课我最满意的地方，是我对二手烟和三手烟的引入，使学生们对吸烟的 危害有了更深层的认识和理解。学生对这节课的学习达到了预期的目的。出乎我意料的 是学生们对讨论的问题很感兴趣，但是时间有点仓促，有些同学没发上言，我把没发上 言的同学的观点留了作业让他们写在作业上，以便于我了解。 在其他同仁听了我课之后，也给了一些建议，我会不断的充实本节课。在文章的时 间安排上，我应该在合理一些。 以上是我对本节课的反思。
