教学目标

1. Language Knowledge(知识目标)

(1)After the lesson, Ss will be able to understand the meaning of the story “My magic cat”.

(2)Ss will be able to pronounce the short vowel “a”, /?/ sound, with the help of the rhyming words in the story, such as cat, rat, bat, bag, fat and so on.

(3)Ss will be able to understand the rules of phonics containing onset sound, the short vowel “a”, and the ending sound, such as c-a-t, cat.

2. Language Skills(语言技能)

(1)After the lesson, Ss will be able to pronounce the short vowel “a”, /?/ sound.

(2)Ss will be able to spell the rhyming words containing the short vowel “a” accurately.

(3)Ss will be able to distinguish the differences between “bat and bag, fat and hat” and so on.

(4)Ss will be able to read the story “My magic cat” accurately and fluently.

学情分析

? ? ?本次教学对象是三年级的学生,他们通过三年级上学期系统的学习,已经熟练掌握了26个字母,掌握一定的主题单词、简单句型和简单语法,在三年级上册已经会唱较多的英语儿歌,对学习英语有浓厚兴趣。三年级下册语音教学是重要教学内容之一,也是必须掌握的语音技能. 通过语音学习, 掌握发音策略，培养学生可持续学习能力。

重点难点

Teaching Main Points(教学重点)

1、Ss will be able to pronounce the short vowel “a” and spell the words accurately.2、Ss will be able to understand the rules of phonics containing onset sound, the short vowel “a” and the ending sound.

活动1【导入】

Stage　1：　Lead　in

Teacher’s activities /talk

——let’s listen to an English song, “Doreamon”.

——What animal can you see from the song?(I see a cat.)

Students’ activities

——Greet with the teacher.

——Listen and sing the song.

——Find out the animal they have seen in the song.(I see a cat.)

设计意图: 与学生打招呼，营造亲切、和谐的师生关系，走进学生的课堂; 通过 “Doreamon ”歌曲,进一步营造和谐的课堂学习气氛,引出故事“A magic cat”。

活动2【讲授】

Stage 2：Presentation

Step 1: A story  A magic cat

--Q1.”What’s that?”

--Q2.”How is the cat?”

--Q3. ”Who’s that boy?”

--Q4. ”What’s in the pocket?”

--Q5.”What’s in the bag?”

--Q6.”How is the mat?”

-- Teacher and children read the story by clapping hands when they meet the rhyming words with short vowel “a”.

-- Teacher and children tell the story together.

Step 2: The short vowel “a”, /?/

1.? Teacher picks up the words with the short vowel “a”, such as cat, bag, hand, dad.

——What’s the same letter do they have?

Step 3: the rules of phonics containing onset sound, the short vowel “a” and the ending sound

1.? Teacher spells the words with gestures.

——The words has 3 letters, the onset sound(c, b, r, h, f), in the middle it’s the short vowel “a” /?/, please don’t forget the ending sound(t, d).

Students’ activities

Answer the questions:

1.? It’s a cat.

2.? It’s fat and magic.

3.? It’s Nobita.

4. It’s a bag.

5. It’s the hat and a mat.

6. It’s a flying mat.

Read the story following the teacher by clapping hands when meeting the rhyming words.

Step 2: The short vowel “a”, /?/

1. Find out the same letter “a” in the rhyming words.

2. Repeat the short vowel “a” after the teacher.

Step 3: the rules of phonics containing onset sound, the short vowel “a” and the ending sound

1.? Repeat the words following the teacher by doing the gestures.

2.? Understand the words contain the onset sound, the short vowel “a” and the ending sound.

设计意图:通过创编故事,故事引入,激发学生学习的兴趣, 故事采用平衡句式,押韵词,让学生读起来朗朗上口。学生通过不同的朗读方式理解故事内容,通过提炼押韵词自然过渡引出a 发/?/的语音教学。学生通过观察,找出押韵词的发音规律,增加身体语言讲授和操练押韵词的起音、韵音、尾音,让学生掌握语音知识同时提高语音技能,从音、形的结合掌握单词发音策略。

Activity 1: the meaning of the rhyming words with the short vowel “a”

——clap hands when we meet the rhyming words with the short vowel “a”.

Activity 2: let’s chant.

--chant with the gestures when meet the words with pictures and clap hands

Activity 3: the differentiation between the sound and the form

——Listen to the word and show me the colour of the word with the colour hand.

Activity 4: the spelling of the words with the word calendar.

Activity 5: play the video of writing words.

Students’ activities

Activity 1: the meaning of the rhyming words with the short vowel “a”.

Activity 3: the differentiation between the sound and the form

--Listen and show the colour of the words with the colour hands.

设计意图:通过设计梯度的练习,让学生充分熟练单词的发音,音、形、义的结合,深刻理解故事的内容。通过颜色手掌活动进行辨音学习,让学生学会倾听和正确辨别混音词中的差别,例如bat and bag,增加活动的趣味性。通过使用单词日历卡两人合作构词并正确拼读,学以致用,实现全员参与的目的,培养学生与他人合作的精神。

Retell the story

1.? Retell the story together without the rhyming words.

2.? Retell the story in groups just with the pictures.

设计意图:有梯度地检查学生是否正确、流畅地朗读故事。通过6小组合作,对故事进行复述,呈现学习的成果。

?1. Listen to the text and follow for three time.(听录音并跟读三遍）

2. Find more words with the letter a .（找出单词含有a字母并发/?/的单词）

设计意图: 模仿发音，寻找短元音a的单词，体现自主学习,学以致用的学习过程。
