2. To express travel plans
using the language learned in the class;
3. To learn to enjoy the fun of traveling and appreciate the beautiful sceneries in China and the whole world, thus making us love our country, love the world and love the nature.
4. To raise awareness of protecting our environment.

三. About the students:
1. Some students who know little about the Mekong River.
2. Most of them don’t often use English to express themselves and communicate with others.
3. The students are not familiar with the teacher so they may be nervous and they are afraid of making mistakes while having class.

1. Double activities teaching method.
2. Question-and-answer teaching method.
3. Task-based method.

The multi-media, the students’ book, others.
六.Teaching procedures
Step 1 Warming up.
First: Greet the whole class and give a brief introduction.
Then: Brain-storming(3min’)
Step 2 Presentation.
