教材分析：This topic aims to review “The Past Simple Tense” and help students to talk about the activities during the summer holidays.

教学目标：To learn the topic words and the expressions “have / has been to与 have /has gone to”

To know something about the changes in different places

To understand the conversation and complete the table

知识与能力：

1,New words and expressions: volunteer, bell,

Africa, have/has been to, have/ has gone to, take place

2,To enable the students can talk about the changes in their and hometown

3, To enable the cooperation in their groups

过程与方法：

Stage 1: Pre-listening

(1),Greetings

(2)Share the changes in my hometown with the students

Stage 2:While- listening

(1),Ask the students to look the pictures and guess what they are talking about and then share the ideas in groups.

(2), Listen to 1a and complete the table.

Stage3: Post – listening

Retell the main information of 1a basted on 1b.

Act out the conversation in groups
