一、教学内容分析





本节英语听说课主要学习谈论不同电视节目以及不同的人对各种电视节目的喜好。通过观看一段由不同题材的电视节目(sitcom, soap opera, news, talk show, game show, sports show, talent show)剪辑后合并而成的视频(大约4分钟)引入话题。学生通过 watch, match, listen, pairwork, role-play 等活动了解不同类型的人对各种电视节目有各自的观点和爱好,要求学生能结合1a—2d的文字、图片、听力等材料并结合自身的生活经验和喜好开展讨论并发表自己的观点。?





二、教学目标





Language skill aims:

Ss learn about people have different opinions about different kinds of TV shows.

Ss learn how to express their own views about the different TV shows.

Ss are able to role-play the conversation between Grace and Sarah.

Knowledge aims:

Vocabulary and useful expressions

sitcom, news, soap, educational, plan, hope, find out, discussion, stand, happen, may, expect

Key and difficult sentences

① What do you want to watch? ② What do you think of talk shows?

③ I can't stand them. ④ I don’t mind them.

⑤ I like/love them. / I don’t like them.

Emotional aims:

Ss Learn the names of different kinds of television programs. Lead the students to form a correct concept of culture. Cultivate the students’ awareness of cross-cultural. To form their own independent personality.?

重点:(1). Learning to master the names of different kinds of television programs。

(2). Grasp the infinitive structure as the object of a verb;

Step1 Lead-in and presentation

1. Ask Ss questions : Do you like watching TV? What’s your favorite TV shows?

2. Now let’s watch a short cutting video and tell us what kind of TV shows you are watching?

Now you watch the cutting videos about talk show, soap opera, sports show, sitcom, game show, talent show, news. what do you think of soap opera/sitcom/…?

Step 2: Look and match the pictures Now please open your books at page 33. Watch the pictures carefully and match the TV shows with the pictures.

Step3 . Listen and number

You will hear four short conversations.

What kind of TV shows are they talking about? Number the shows in the order you hear them.

Step4. Pairwork

Let Ss look at the pictures in the box. Then explain the meaning of each expression to the Ss. Walk around classroom to offer help where necessary.

Step 5. Listen and number

T: Lin Hui and Sally are talking about TV shows. What do Lin Hui and Sally think of the TV shows? What do they plan to watch? Let’s listen to the tape and number the shows in order.

Step 6. 2c Listen again and complete the sentences

Let Ss read the sentences below. Explain some main sentences for the Ss. Make sure they know what to do. Play the recording for the 内容过长,仅展示头部和尾部部分文字预览,全文请查看图片预览。 角色表演。本项任务主要培养学生能根据所学的句型和语法功能模仿对话中的人物谈论对时下不同电视节目的观点。学生可以结合自己的感受而不必拘泥于某某。





Homework:

1.Read the conversations in 1b and 2a, 2d.

2.Make sentences by using the following phrases:

want to, plan to, hope to, expect



Finish the homework .



通过作业加深对本节课所学对话的理解和句型的掌握。
