这是我校高一某位老师的一堂阅读课,以下是她的教案以及教学步骤。

Reading of Unit Five Book II

The Band That Wasn’t

1. Listening(先播放课文录音)

Purpose: To get a brief understanding of the text.

To train Ss’ listening ability.

目的:让学生对材料有个初略的了解

训练学生的听力

Ask Ss to find the writing type and the main idea of the text.

要求学生找出写作方式以及课文主旨

Main idea: how “The Monkees” was formed by the TV organizers and became a real band.

2. Scanning(仔细阅读)

Purpose: To get Ss to have some details in the text.

目的:让学生获取更多细节

Read the text quickly and identify the topic sentence of each paragraph. Ss may find it either at the beginning, the middle or the end of the paragraph.

教学生如何从段落中找出中心句,句首、句中或句末。

1st paragraph: How do people get to form a band?

2nd paragraph: Most musicians meet and form a band.

3rd paragraph: One band started as a TV show.

4th paragraph: “The Monkees” became even more popular than “The Beatles”.

人们通常如何组建乐队。

音乐人相约组建乐队。

有一个乐队组建是为了参加电视表演节目。

门基乐队变得比甲壳虫乐队来受欢迎。

It began as a TV show.

They played jokes on each other as well as played music

Most of them were based loosely on the band called “The Beetles”.



Development of the band

They became more serious about their work and started to play their own instruments and write their own songs like a real band. They produced their own records and started touring and playing their own music.



Changes of the band

The band broke up in about 1970, but reunited in the mid-1980s. They produced a new record in 1996, which was a celebration of their time as a real band.

这是一堂非常流畅的阅读课、很成功,体现在以下几个方面:

教学目的清晰、步骤安排合理

2、教学方式亲切、师生互动较好

3、多媒体设备使用熟练、课件制作简洁明了

4、英语口语运用合理,体现了English possible, Chinese necessary的合理尺度

5、时间控制较好、张弛有度

如果在下面三点上有所改进,可能会更加完整:

If we are honest with ourselves, most of us have dreamed of being famous sometimes in our lives. Most musicians often meet and forma band. Sometimes they play in the street to _passers-by_(passer-by) so that they can earn some extra money and this also gives them a chance to realize (realize) their dreams. There was once a band started in a different way. It was called (call) the Monkees.“The Monkees” was formed in 1960s in the USA. It began as a TV show. The musicians (music)of the band played jokes as well as played music. In fact, it wasn’t a real band at the very beginning(begin) Most of the musicians were only actors who pretended to sing the songs when they were on the stage. They became popular because of their attractive (attract) performances. After a year or so, they became more serious about their work and started to play their own instruments and write their own songs. However, the band broke up in 1970 and reunited in the mid-1980s.
