二、教学目标1.To develop Ss’basic skills of listening ,speaking,reading and writing .

Reading is the focus in this unit.

2.To encourage Ss to practise ,participate, and co-operate in the classroom activities.

3.To get Ss to understand Chinese traditional Spring Festival and som







三、学习者特征分析

The Ss of machinery are most boys.they are not good at English.They are poor in English.especially speaking and writing.So, It’s necessary to improve their speaking and writing.







四、教学过程



Step1:Warm-up Time used:5m

Free-talking

Question1:What festivals do you know in China?

Question2:What festival is the most important in China?

Download some pictures about the festivals and ask Ss to describe them.

Goal:To arouse Ss’interest in the Spring Festival and lead up to the topic

Step2:Reading Time used:15m

Activitiy1:fast reading(class work)

Ss are required to go through the whole passage quickly to get the general idea about it and tell the followin 内容过长,仅展示头部和尾部部分文字预览,全文请查看图片预览。 grasp the main meaning of the whole passage and use the new words and structures well.On the other hand,Ss can’t communicate with each other fluently about the topic given.There are some errors in writing.It is necessary for Ss to improve their speaking and writing in the future teaching.
