Teaching aims

1、Be able to speak、read、listen and write the new words: potato(es)、tomato(es)、carrot(s)、green bean(s) 、onion(s).

2、Be able to use the main sentences freely: Look at the greenbeans. They’re so long! Yes, and the potatoes are big.

3、Be able to say a chant.

Teaching points

Key point: To master the new words.

Difficult point: To master the plurality of the words.

Teaching process

Step One Warm-up

1、Weather report.

2、Revision.

Step Tow Presentation

（一）、Let’s learn

1、Touch and learn

(1)、 Teacher takes out a bag and asks a student to touch , then say out the Chinese names of the vegetables. Then teacher teaches the words: potato(es)、tomato(es)、carrot(s)、green bean(s) 、onion(s).

(2)、Listen to the vedio and read after it.

(3)、Read after teacher.

(4)、Read one by one, read in groups.

(5)、Play a game:

Teacher hides one kind of vegetables in some student’s desk, asks a student to find, while the other sudents read the word loudly when the student near the vegetable.

2、Practice

(1)、Look and match.

(2)、Pair work:

Ask students to make a dialogue like “Let’s learn”.

3、Play a game

Golden eyes(砸金蛋): Hit the eggs and read the words quickly.

(二)、 Let’s chant

1、Watch the vedio and listen to the chant.

2、Understand the meaning with teacher.

3、Read after it quietly.

4、Read after it loudly.

5、Say the chant together.

Step Three Emotional sublimation

Vegetables are good for us. Let’s eat more vegetables.

Step Four Let’s sing

1、Watch the vedio and listen to the song: Mary has a little lamb.

2、Sing after the vedio.

3、Sing the song together.

Step Five Sam up and homework

1、Make a dialogue.

2、Write the new words three times .
