-----谭某某

Good morning, my dear teachers. Thanks very much for giving me this opportunity to be interview, I hope I can have a good performance. I am number___. Today I will talk about -----Go for it BookI Unit 6 Do you like bananas ?Section A 1a-2c . My content is made up of 5 parts.

Analysis of the teaching material. Analysis of the students.

Teaching methods. Teaching procedure.

Blackboard design. Conclusion

Well, firstly, I will talk about part one—analysis of the teaching material.There are three steps in this part.

1. Teaching contents

This lesson is from the book of GO FOR IT. It’s the first lesson in this unit. And the lesson is mainly about the food_. The topic is related to our life, so it’s easy to arouse the students’ interest. As we all know interest is the best teacher for the students.

2. Teaching aims

According to the teaching contents, I design the following teaching aims. There are knowledge aims, ability aims and emotion aims. Knowledge aims are to enable students to master new words about the food and the sentences pattern, such as

Do you like...? Yes, I am./ No, I’m not.

Let’s have....

That sounds good.

Ability aims are to improve students speaking and listening ability, they can use the target language to communicate in our life. Emotion aims are to develop the spirit of cooperation by pairwork and competition.

3.The important and difficult points

The important and difficult points are based on the teaching contents and teaching aims. The important points are to improve students speaking and listening ability, and the difficult points is to master the usage of key sentences correctly.

Then, I will talk about part two—analysis of the students. The students have learned English for some years, so they can understand some words and simple sentences. They are active and interested in new things, so I will design some interesting activities to attract their attentions.

Next, I will talk about another part—teaching methods. Using different methods can make the class active. In this lesson I will use Task-based teaching methods and situational approach.

Now I will talk about the most important part teaching procedure. There are five steps in this part.

Step 1 Warming up and leading in

In this step, we will first give each other a greeting. After the greeting, I will play a song called “How’s the weather?” for the students, and I will ask them try to follow it to sing together. By this the students can be interested in it and pay their attentions to our class easily.

Step 2 Presentation

I will show some pictures with sounds and ask the students to guess the meaning of new words.(eg .food, fruit, vegetable ) Purpose of my designing: CAI(计算机辅助教学) can provide a real situation with sounds and pictures, by this the students can learn new words and sentence pattern easily with the help of a real situation. And it also makes the relationship between students better. Situational approach is used here.

After the introduction of new words and key sentences, I will guide the students to answer the question: How’s the weather in Dong Lan? So it’s easy to move to step3.

Step 3 Listening

Firstly, the students learn the name of the cities in 1b, and do the listening carefully. And then check the answers.

Secondly, after listening to 1b, students work in pairs to describe the weather in these five cities. And then, I will invite some student to act as the weather reporters in front of the class.

Thirdly, I will show the picture of 2a and 2b to the students, and ask “How many people are there in the pictures? What are they doing? ” and I will help the students to answer the questions. Student listen and match, and then check the answers in groups.The purpose of my designing: this step let the students have the chance to practice their listening and spoken ability.

After that let’s move to step4 Practice

In this step, students do the pairwork in 2c(talk about the people in 2a with their partner). And I will divide the whole class into 4 groups to have a competition by showing their conversation in class.

Task-based teaching method is used here.By this, the students’ cooperation ability will be well developed.

Step5 Summary

In this step, I will guide students to conclude key words and sentences to wide their knowledge. By this, we can easy to check the knowledge students have learned in this lesson.

In the end I will give the homework--- Make a survey of meteorological symbols. I think homework is so important that the students should do some exercise after class to consolidate the knowledge.

Next, I will talk about part 5 blackboard design.

Here is my blackboard design, it’s very simple and clear. What’s more it’s easy for students to understand.

At last, I’d like to talk about the last part in my lesson--- conclusion.

To be a good teacher is my dream. I think a teacher is not only a guide for the students but also a friend of them.
