Analyze the content

The class is aimed at getting the students to learn and master the new words and expressions’ pronunciation and know the exact meanings in the context. As the students have some trouble in learning , therefore , educe its difficulty using the pictures and arouse the students’ interest, making the class more effective.

Teaching aims:

1. learn to pronounce words and expressions from "snorkel" to "help...out" correctly and know their exact meanings in the context.

2. Guide Ss to use the new words in complete sentences with the pictures.

3. learn to truly use the correct form of the new words according to different contexts flexibly.

Teaching important and difficult points:

1. Guide students to use the new words in complete sentences with the help of pictures.

2. learn to truly use the correct form of the new words according to different contexts flexibly.

Teaching procedures:

Step 1 warming up

Please, according to word information, guess the words

team+ work= teamwork______

Step 2 get familiar with the new words

Show pictures--- lead students to output the new words --- make a complete sentence.

Step 5 reflection

In this class there are some highlights, first of all, I choose some pictures and news , which arouse the Ss’ interest in what I want to express, the students are willing to take part in the class activities like that; Secondly, hand-drawing part sets suspense to attract students’ attention, joining in the guessing activity; thirdly, using the Mind-map can review what we have learned in the class effectively. But there are lot of shortcomings, such as Last part: To leave the students enough time to make self-presentation , imaginary space too busy; show time is less than ever before; consolidation exercises are relatively simple and so on. Try my best to correct and improve the similar teaching design in the future
