Unit4 Topic1 SectionB 教学设计

一. Material analysis

本课是九年级第四单元第一话题的第二课时。主活动是1a。1a通过Jane 和Michael谈论在博物馆所见到的展品来继续学习一般过去时的被动语态。1b 和 1c分别以听和填写图表来巩固1a的内容。1d则通过“说一说,猜一猜”的形式让学生运用一般过去时的被动语态。2是让学生能够根据需要正确运用一般现在时和一般过去时的被动语态。3以听力的方式,来训练对一般过去时的被动语态的运用,同时也可让学生了解更多的发明。4a和4b 属于对语音语调的学习。通过本课的学习,学生可以比较性地学习两种被动语态并且了解到更多的发明创造。

二. Teaching aims

1. Knowledge aims:

①Students can read and understand these new words including airplane, bulb, hard-wearing,Korea.

②Students can master the usage of passive voice.

2. Skill aims:

①Students can read and understand 1a.

②Students can talk about the inventions with others using the passive voice.

Emotional aims: (optional)

Students can know more information about the inventions and be persevering.

五. Teaching procedures

Step1.The whole class work.Greet with students and let students read our today’s learning objects together.

Step2.Students recall what they’ve learned in SectionA and read the key points together.There are several exercises for them to deepen their impression.

Step3.Pair-work. New words study

Step4.Students are given three questions before listening.They can preview these questions within one minute.One minute later,students listen to 1a with the book closed.After listening to 1a twice, check the answers.

Step5.Watching and read after it

Step6.Group-work. Discuss the key points with their group members

Step7.Individual work.Practice

Step8.Three students a group. Give an example for them to make a new dialog about describing another invention and they need to act it out.

step9.Summarizing and assigning homework

六·导学设计

(一)Students’ activities :

1 .Focus their attention on the teacher.

2.Students talk about the inventions.

(二)The teacher’ s activity :

1 .Greet students and make them ready for learning.

2.The teacher asks students to report their homework.

Let students talk about the inventions in groups, using It was invented by...in...Let students grasp the usages of the structures and the past simple passive voice.

Let the students discuss in pairs about one of the inventions.One student describes it and another student guesses.

Ask three groups to act out their dialog.

The teacher sums up the reports and show a new invention’s pictures.Let the students discuss how to describe it.
