5.2.1.1 Presentation

The teacher shows the pictures to Ss.

T:What are those places in the pictures?

S1:It’s a train station in the first picture.

S2:It’s a subway station in the second picture.

S3:It’s a bus station in the third picture.

T:What can you see in the stations?

S: There are some people and a train in the train station. There are two subways and some people in the subway station ,and there are two people and two buses in the bus station.

5.2.1.2 Match the words with pictures in 1a.

5.2.2 Activity 1b

Get three or four students to the front of the classroom to play a memory game and practice the target language. The teacher can ask several groups to play the game in the front. The other students can do it after class.

A:I walk to the bus stop. Then I take a bus to school.

B:I ride my bike to the subway station and take the subway to the bookshop. A walks to the bus stop. Then he/she takes a bus to school.

C:I take a bus to the train station, and then I take the train to my hometown. B rides his bike to the subway station and takes the subway to the bookshop.

If a student can’t remember what his/her last student says, the group should restart the game.

Read the sentences twice. Ask some students to guess what information Mary wants to know and tell the others why he/she guess so.

5.5Sentence interpretation 难句理解

5.5.1 Mary wants to know where Bob lives. 玛丽想知道鲍某某在哪里。

(where Bob lives 充当know的宾语从句,用陈述语序)

5.5.2 Mary wants to know how long it takes him to get to his grandparents’ home . 玛丽想知道鲍勃到爷爷奶奶家要多长时间。

(take 这里是“花费时间”的意思,对一段时间提问用how long)

5.5.3 Mary wants know what he think of the trip. 玛丽想知道他怎样评价这次行程。

(think of 意思是“评价,认为”,其疑问词要用what)

1. Read the listening materials aloud for several times.

2. Do a survey about how your classmates get to school, how far it takes them to get to school, and how long it is from their homes to school. And write it down.

课后反思

本节课是一节听说,在课前的备课过程中,我主要涉及到以下两个听力策略:

1. 通过听前的词汇分类与听中聚焦关键信息,学生能在听力中使用该策略

2. 通过听后挖掘听力信息任务的设置和听力材料的再现,学生能进一步去判断并思考表达观点,发展了口语技能

在实际的教学过程中,第一个听力技巧的实施很顺利,效果比较理想,学生反应比较积极,可能是因为在前期的准备比较充足,练习的材料学生比较熟悉,因此很主动。但在随后的听活动中进展不太顺利,课堂效果不太理想。反思原因,可能是因为:首先受限于学生本身的口语表达能力,再加之在面对很多人时,有相当一部分学生还是有些畏难心理,不太自信。再者,有可能是听中活动没有做到细致分析,导致有一部分学生没有抓住要领,因此在听后活动中就比较迷惑。最后,是于我的课前考虑不够细致,细节方面不到位,课堂掌控能力不够造成。

听说能力是语言课程一项重要的能力,但目前我所担任的班级的学生在听说能力上比较弱,这也是我比较头疼的地方。我希望通过每周两次的听力专练活动,再加之课堂上的听力活动,能逐步提高孩子们的听力应试能力和日常口语交际能力
