教学设计-------分词作状语

Teaching aims:

Help the students to understand and master how the v–ing form used as adverbials.

Help them to express their opinions by sentences with v-ing form.

Improve their ability of writing in English.

Teaching important points:

Help the students to learn and master the usage of v-ing used as adverbial.

Teaching difficult points:

How to help them to express their opinions by v-ing .

Teaching methods:

Summarizing, discussing and practicing

Teaching aids:

A projector,multimedia player and a PPT

Teaching Procedure

Step one:Showing the learning goals.

Step two:Lead in

Show some pictures on the screen to lead the students to describe them in English . The students work individually to describe the pictures

1.He stays up late because he doesn’t have the courage to put an end to a day.

2.He don’t want to get up because he have no courage to begin a day.

List some pairs of sentences then pair the students to discuss about the sentences to find out the rules of them.

将下列句子合并成并列句

She walked into the classroom

She was singing a song

First he returned to France.

Then he was put into prison.

He stays up late .

He doesn’t have the courage to end a day.
