Lead-in

Free talk.

Show Ss some pictures and let them talk about the locations.

Step 1

Activity 1a-2c.

Match each thing with a place in the picture. (Many different answers are possible.)





Step 2

Listen again and answer some questions.





Step 3

 Activity 2d.

Let Ss read the conversation and answer some questions.





Step 4

Pair works.

Make conversations.

Let Ss using the information in 1a to make conversation and then to talk about their own town or city.





Step 5

Conclusion.Give Ss a summary of sentence structures about “ask directions and giving directions” and let them remember.
