教学目标设计



1. Instructional objectives(language knowledge and language skills)

1) Get more familiar with healthy eating.

2) Understand the meaning of new words about diet, pronounce them correctly and use them to get information from the reading material.

3) Develop the reading skills, such as scanning, skimming and predicting.

4) Improve the skill of reading the phonetic symbols.

5)Give suggestions about others’ diet by the sentence structures “you must/mustn’t… I think you ought to…”

2. Educational objectives (affect, learning strategy and cultural awareness)

1) Recognize making the connection between a word and an object can help you understand and remember the word better.

2) Build up their cooperative spirits through pair and group work.

3. Personal objectives

The teacher could have a better command of class atmosphere and students by practicing.



二、教学重难点



?Focal points:

1. Vocabulary & phrases: barbecued mutton kebabs, bacon, beef and mutton, fried rice…

2. Reading skills: skimming, scanning, predicting and summarizing the general idea.

Difficult points:

1. Summarize new words and phrases.

2. Give suggestions about others’ diet by the sentence structures “you must/mustn’t… I think you ought to…”
